Chris Cotton is the founder and CEO of Inner Connections and a certified Spiritual Life Coach. Chris earned a Bachelor of Science from
Unity
College in
Maine in Outdoor Leadership in 1994 but his career began when he was only 18. Chris worked in an intensive residential treatment program for youth at risk as a staff member during college. He facilitated wilderness programs for troubled teens and worked for the state of ME as a Recreational Therapist. Chris’s next position was the Director of Experiential Therapy and Recreation at a treatment program in NH where he worked with adolescents and adults with substance abuse problems. Chris also worked as a drug and alcohol counselor in a middle school and high school. It was at this point, out of Chris’s passion for working with young adults and with the support of Chris’s mentor and coach, James Morton, that Inner Connections was born.
Chris became certified as a Spiritual Life Coach through the Coaching from Spirit program with Sharon Wilson which enhanced his coaching and mentoring skills. Chris brings a wealth of inner personal knowledge which he uses to help his students and families to build a foundation for success. He helps families achieve positive communication and helps young adults to begin finding their own way. Chris continues to study the teachings of other coaches and mentors and he believes that it is a privilege and an honor to assist others in finding their own unique talents.
Jeffrey Saari has been a life coach at Inner Connections since October 2006. Jeff earned a Bachelor of Arts in Holistic Studies from Vermont College in January of 2005 where his main focus was modern spiritual philosophy and meditation. After school he took a year off to pursue music performance. Then, while searching for a way to bring his interests of psychology and spirituality together he found life coaching, and at the end of 2005 he enrolled at the Coach Training Alliance, a life coaching school where he obtained his degree in June of 2006. Jeff then started his own company, called Visionary Coaching, which led him to dialogues with Chris Cotton. Chris’s work with young adults and families inspired Jeff so much that he agreed to become part of the Inner Connections mission and family. Jeff’s training in and love of meditation continually supports his development of one of the most crucial aspects of coaching: deep listening. He is also beginning to study under one of Chris’s mentors, learning the art of structural dynamics. Jeff currently serves as co-chair of the Monadnock Mindfulness Practice Center in Keene, a center devoted to bringing the art of meditation to the community-at-large. He lives in Keene with his wife Melissa.
