Chris Cottonis the founder and CEO of Inner Connections and a certified Spiritual Life Coach. Chris earned a Bachelor of Science from Unity College in Maine in Outdoor Leadership in 1994 but his career began when he was only 18. Chris worked in an intensive residential treatment program for youth at risk as a staff member during college. He facilitated wilderness programs for troubled teens and worked for the state of ME as a Recreational Therapist. Chris’s next position was the Director of Experiential Therapy and Recreation at a treatment program in NH where he worked with adolescents and adults with substance abuse problems. Chris also worked as a drug and alcohol counselor in a middle school and high school. It was at this point, out of Chris’s passion for working with young adults and with the support of Chris’s mentor and coach, James Morton, that Inner Connections was born.
Chris became certified as a Spiritual Life Coach through the Coaching from Spirit program with Sharon Wilson which enhanced his coaching and mentoring skills. Chris brings a wealth of inner personal knowledge which he uses to help his students and families to build a foundation for success. He helps families achieve positive communication and helps young adults to begin finding their own way. Chris continues to study the teachings of other coaches and mentors and he believes that it is a privilege and an honor to assist others in finding their own unique talents.
Jennifer Dolce is a POBI Certified Breathwork Practitioner. She has been involved in Breathwork as a healing tool for personal health & empowerment for over 10 years. She is passionate about teaching the power and spirit of breath to assist individuals in empowering themselves towards living a more healthy, happy and fulfilled life. Jennifer has also studied “The Work of Byron Katie” and is a graduate of one of the original “Schools for the Work” in 2000. She uses “The Work” along with many other coaching and self-awareness techniques to help her clients have a greater understanding of their thinking and how it may be getting in the way of living an empowered life, full of joy and freedom.
Jennifer Whitehead is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Jennifer earned her Bachelors degree in Psychology from Keene State College and her Masters degree in Social Work from the University of New Hampshire in 2002. She has spent most of her career working with adolescents and young adults in residential and outpatient settings. During college, Jen worked for a community mental health agency and for an organization providing disability services. After graduate school, Jennifer launched her career as a social worker by taking a position as a residential clinician at a group home for adolescent girls in NH. From there, she relocated to Keene, NH and worked as Associate Director for the same developmental disability agency she had worked for in college. Presently, Jennifer works with youth as an outpatient substance abuse clinician in Keene, NH.
Jennifer brings to Inner Connections experience and a strong interest in various areas of substance use and mental health issues; interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and sandplay therapy techniques.
